The McElroy Pit Bull® 14 Fusion Machine
The McElroy Pit Bull® 14 Fusion Machine is called the workhorse of the McElroy machines because of its versatility and endurance. The PitBull 14 is compact and lightweight, incorporating McElroy’s patented Centerline Guidance System, which is designed to butt fusion tees, ells and other fittings with consistent, high-end results for pipe sizes 1” – 4“. The Pit Bull 14 is primarily made of surface hardened aluminum to keep it light-weight and durable. This machine’s semi-automatic locking cam system maintains force during the cooling cycle by locking the moveable jaw in place.
Pit Bull Fusion Carriages
Compact and portable, the Pit Bull carriage is built specifically for pipe fusion in an entrenchment. On a tight installation, the medium-diameter Pit Bull machines can be converted from a four-jaw to a three-jaw carriage for an even more compact poly pipe welding unit. When wheel-mounted and track-mounted vehicles are not necessary, the carriage on these machines will provide all that you need to fuse small and medium diameter pipe.
The smaller-diameter models have only two jaws that are made primarily of surface-hardened aluminum which makes them durable, yet light weight so that they can be physically carried from joint to joint.

Included with the PitBull 14 machine package are reversible jaws, facer and clamp knobs. The jaws and inserts have multiple serrations to insure maximum grip on the pipe. You can also add the optional 4-wheel cart with outrigger pipe supports, a lightweight heater/facer caddy, or a manual fusion machine stand, which will raise the machine to a more comfortable level for fusing pipe.
